Country Market

Our Hospice Country Market took place on Saturday, 3rd July 2010 from 08h00 to 13h00 at Hospice House, 200 Zwartkop Road, Prestbury. Much fun and entertainment was had by all! Shoppers were tempted with a selection of fresh veggies, yoghurts, jams, freshly baked cakes and loads more.

The morning was abuzz with kiddie’s entertainment (Kidz Corner) which offered loads of games to play. Kimbo the Clown had the crowds roaring with laughter followed by Tail Wagging Dog Competition. They came in all shapes and sizes. The categories were: Best fancy dress, physically challenged, the cutest and ugliest dog, owner look alike, most un-usual dog and The Peoples Choice Award. Many fantastic prizes were won!

Those taste buds were being tickled with our delicious Breyani, Tikka Chicken Rolls, Chilli Bites, Pancakes, Samoosas, Bacon and Egg Rolls, Toasted Sandwiches and Pies while enjoying the melodious sounds of the Umgeni Hospital Band.

A BIG Hospice thank you goes out to all our donators, suppliers, volunteers and staff, without you this event could not have been such a huge success!
